Week With Sophia V.4

Finals are so close! I have been stressed out this whole week while studying and fighting off a terrible case of the flu. I was able to rest up for a while, but now I am back in action working on many papers and studying for my final exams! But along this week, there have been a few highlights!

Spotify Year in Music

I was so happy to stumble across this! If you are a Spotify user like myself, it takes all of the data from what artist's you have listened to and comes up with what your number one played song is and such! It made me smile so much to reminisce about what tunes I have loved over the year!

(No surprise that my number one was my favorite person in the entire world)

Day Designer

I have been through so many different planners, and I can now honestly say that I have found the one that works for me. My Day Designer has been a lifesaver these past few days.

I'll be studying if you need me, but all new content will be up as soon as i'm done with this upcoming week!

New Year, New You

I feel like a majority of the blog post's that go around this time of year are mostly dedicated to setting your new years resolutions and how you can achieve it. Well that's great and all to create them, I feel as if it's always a great time of the year to find your self and what truly makes you happy. This is one of my goals this year and I am extremely determined to do. With that, I have created a few short tips on how to complete this as your new years resolution!

Brainstorm- Literally think high and low of different things that might change you. I found out and tried different exercise classes that helped me leave feeling like a new person. Maybe exercise isn't your game but maybe writing or knitting or even photography. I created a list of all of the things I enjoy and this helped me narrow down the things that I want to try this year

Make small goals - This will definitely help and to help push you to try new things. What I like to do is take my brainstorm list from above and then try and see when I can incorporate them into my routines and months.

Daily Goals: Try the app Productive - I have a couple of my new items that were more for my everyday well being, so I downloaded this app called productive that helps keep track of the things you do daily and to help create them into habits. It's pretty fun and convenient since it's on your phone! It also have a setting where it reminds you to do you item!

Week With Sophia V.3

Finals week is creeping up on my schedule and my workload is getting heavier and heavier. But honestly, I cannot wait until the next two weeks are over and I start the new semester! I am so ready to have a clean slate and too start fresh on the new semester. But with that I have been studying like a maniac these past few days, so I haven't really been outside much due to the insane amount of rain and

The Mindy Project

AHH!! This is my absolute new favorite show! I have always adored Mindy Kaling from when she was in the Office. But with a show just dedicated to her, I have a new love for her and with her show! She's a doctor in the show (which is my dream career) and it's the story of her life as a doctor in New York City. Basically goals.

See's Candies Little Pops

I am always looking for some good snacks for me to munch on during studying or just as a treat. And these are perfect! I received these as a stocking stuffer and I am have been addicted to these. I love how that the box comes with different flavors and they are so tiny so you don't feel like you having a while lollipop!

Desk Arrangment

I decided to create a new study space for me  while going into this crucial time of my semester, and this was honestly the best idea. I took a old desk from Ikea and I got to decorate it and it has been the perfect little nook. I have decorated it with a mini gallery wall and added some of my essentials to my desk!

Goals for this upcoming year

Like I promised before, here are my goals and ambitions for this year. I know it may seem like a lot, but I am so motivated to tackle all of these this year. I have been thinking these past few months about what I really want to focus on this year, and it came down to these points. I also listed on some ways that I can tackle these projects.

Read more: I used to be one of the biggest book nerds on earth. I lost most of my love for it due to school and the amount of homework I get each night.

Try different exercise activities: This year I stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to try Soul Cycle. I thought I would not be my thing, and I ended up loving it!! This year I want to maybe try a yoga class or PureBarre.

Save up: As I have grown older, I have most definitely learned how to save. I really want this skill to grow into a long term. So this year I'm going to really try and save as much as I can for the times where I want to treat myself.

Look on the more positive side: This year has been a rollercoaster with everything that has gone on, and definitely have resulted into some bad thoughts. But I really want to focus on the good things by reminding myself with the. Whether it's flowers or a new bedspread!

Reach over 1,500 on Instagram: This has been my goal and is something I'm going to really crack down on this year. I have some really good ideas to come to help with this so be on the look out!

Meet more bloggers in person: I think it would be super fun to meet someone who I have been chatting with via internet.

Write at least 15 post's per month: I do have to apologize for the lack of post's lately. But I have started a new blogging organization system that has definitely made me come up with more ideas for each month's post.

Utilize Social Media more: Other then my Instagram goal above, I really want to focus on my Tumblr and Twitter growth.

Fix sidebar of my website: In my eyes, my sidebar isn't how I would like it. Thus, my goal is to make it how I originally envisioned it.

Master how to create a amazing graphic: This is something that is a skill that I have been trying to master for 2 years now, and is something I really would like to utilize this year with my blog post's.

Finish Junior year the best: This is a dumb goal, but is something that I really need to focus on these next few months.

Make a game plan for the rest of junior year and senior year: Another obvious goal, but of course is something that is crucial in these upcoming years.

Stress less and take more breaks: This more or less deals with my studying skills but is something that I think could benefit me a lot while I study more and more.

What are some of you goals this year?
