Last week Mackenzie Horan posted this blog post all about what she is currently loving. I thought this was a great idea! I have been slacking a little big on my Glimpse of Sophia posts, so I thought this would be a fun way to spice them up mid week! Let me know what y’all have been up to :)

Music… My May Playlist! I have been loving all around a ton of different music lately. From the newest G-Eazy song to One Dance by Drake. (By the way, LOVE that song). I am always interested in hearing different genres, and I think this playlist really
Clothing... Maroon Jeans (Surprisingly!) from Hollister. Usually I don't like to stand out with bright colors (Unless it’s a cute top from JCrew), but I love how these calm and perfect for spring and summer transitions. I love pairing them with a cute tank top or my current favorite blouse.
Food… Trader Joes Frozen Bananas. Everyone. Needs. To. Get. These. By far one of my favorite and easiest snacks to grab. They are so delicious, and are perfect for on the go or just as a treat! I especially love them when I’m studying and use them as a reward. #EndOfTheYearProblems
Place… For some reason these past couple of weeks, I have really been wanting to up to San Francisco. I honestly cannot say that I have been there (I probably went when I was two), but I think that this time of year, when it’s not too cold or hot is that perfect time. I have been thinking about going possibly to visit colleges up there, but that’s a good excuse to visit the city!

Workout…. Lately I have really been pushing and training hard. My recent favorite app is the Nike Training Club App. Super easy to use and totally has different options for what anyone could be looking for in a workout!

Summer Sweetness

Almost summer time here in California! It is slightly windy here (As you can see in these photos), but I honestly cant wait to start wearing my dresses and shorts! I recently bought this burgundy dress and it is so comfortable. I love how comfy it is and super simple when it comes to any occasion.

Quotes to help you through the week

In need of some inspiration?

I have been going super deep on Pinterest and Tumblr looking for quotes to help motivate me through these really stressful times. I love the bible versus and saying's that everyone comes up with. (Especially when they are in a pretty font)

Happy Tuesday!

Work Totes

Lately I have been really needing some more professional and business casual clothing. Some of this is required for banquets to regular meetings. Most of my clothing fits the criteria, but shockingly none of my purses do. I recently jumped on the band wagon

What are your favorite work pieces?

Glimpse of Sophia V.12

What a week! If you know any high schooler currently, you probably know that it's AP week! This is definitely crunch time at my school considering we have only 25 days left of school. I really haven't done much other then really study and try to keep a relaxed week. I took my hardest AP (Art History) on Tuesday, so I'm pretty happy that it's over. But I still have my AP Language & Composition which I feel pretty confident in, on Wednesday. Just trying to keep calm and get through this week!

If you taking any AP's or Standardized test's,
Good Luck!

Recent Purchases of April

I usually never wear my contacts which means that I never wear any sunglasses. But with Spring starting to come and the sun coming out, I have definitely resulted to my contacts and sunglasses in those situations.  I still cant decide on which high end glasses that I should get my prescription in, but these are great for backups for now. I love the shape and the color, and they are perfect for the summer.

Typo Computer Case

Sadly ever since I got my computer it has gotten a little banged up from me brining it everywhere. I have tried using different cases instead of sleeves but all of them have either broken or just ended up scratching my computer more. I have been in need of a computer case for a while now and I was so ecstatic to find this one at Typo! Sadly they don't sell it online but I realized that they have a TON in store that are cuter then the ones online. I also linked some down bellow to a couple that I was also considering buying!

Old Navy is KILLING it with the purses! I was debating either getting this purse or this one. I am in love with the Chloe handbag for the longest time and they made the cutest dupe of it here. But I decided to go for the tote since I have been having a lot of business related meetings and it fits those more.

Recently I went to my local Ulta (Which opened dangerously up the street from me) and they had a sale on some Essie Polishes! These are the absolute cutest colors and they were all only a dollar! Lately I have been switching around all of the colors and they are the cutest! I especially love the pink one!

Whats in my purse

Ever since I can remember, I have been a huge fan of purses. Literally. I remember one time I went to the market with my grandmother and I brought 3 purses with nothing in it because I couldn't decide which one to bring! (I was obviously a crazy kid lol). Before I used to have an insane amount of purses, but now that I have grown I definitely learned and kept a good amount of purses. But with that comes with me knowing what I exactly what to bring from purse to purse! I don't know about you but I love watching "What's in my bag" videos on youtube, but heres my blog post edition of whats in my bag!

Car Keys with Wallet attached or Kate Spade Wallet
Everywhere I go I have this Key Fob and this coin purse attached to my keys. I really only use this as my wallet because it's much easier and before I would loose my wallet wayyyy to much. But whenever I go out to dinner or a nice place, I always switch it to my normal wallet (Similar).

Sunglasses Case
Lately I have been really trying to wear my contacts more often, and these sunglasses have been a lifesaver. I really want to invest on some prescription sunglasses but I'm still iffy on which ones. But I do have to say that these Old Navy ones are perfect for back ups this summer!

Girly Things Bag
I watched Carly from the College Prepster's video on what she brings in her Carry-On bag, she shared how she keeps a "I wish I had a ...". I decided to create my own, and I will never not go anywhere without it! I usually keep a couple of lady products, extra safety pins, hair ties and a tide to-go stick!

Lip Balm & Lip Gloss
Usually I'm not big lip product fan, but I have been loving this chapstick that I picked up from Ulta! This is the perfect on the go chapstick for any occasion. But as for lip gloss for a fancier occasion, I always use this Urban Decay Lip gloss.

Extra Earrings & Necklace
This past week I had an interview in person and a google Hangout Interview. I of course had to present myself nicely, so I immediately knew that I needed backups. I actually ended up changing my jewelry before, but I actually like the idea of keeping a different option with you in case it doesn't work out with the ones you have!

How to Prepare for a Productive Week

This week is truly crunch time for me. With AP's this and next week and then a couple of my finals, I really have been prioritizing every single moment I have to complete things. For the past month I have been struggling in order to get my stuff together for AP's, that I finally have the hang of it!

1. Know what important things you have to do

I know when I had my Day Designer (Before I lost it) I loved the feature at the top that allows you to write the top three things you need to complete in that day. This is such a essential when you have a long to-do list. It helps you prioritize a lot and really makes you think about how much time and what you need to do.

2. Make your to-do list every day

This whole week I have been doing this and it's a life savor. My favorite thing in the morning is to grab my to-do list from the day before and asses when I completed and what I still need to-do. This helps so much when I think about how much time I will have for things. One thing that I really like to do I write out my list on paper and then also make an online to-do list. This helps when if your doing nothing and on the go, you can check your list to see if anything you can do then and there. It could be something as easy as a phone call or emailing a person back!

3. Choose a space where you will complete the most

I realized that I cannot do anything that is important and needs a lot of time in my room. I get extremely distracted whether it's my guinea pig or me being constantly hungry, my room is not the place for me to do the most. I really enjoy going to coffee shops or just little restaurants that I know I can work at for long times.

4.  Know your limits

This is the most important. Please remember to not sleep deprive your self or take your self from hanging out with your friends once this week. You need to take breaks in order to maintain and keep a balance between things. Just try to limit your breaks to a shorter time then usual, but still do then so your up on your toes while working on something!

What are some of your tips about bring productive?
