Apple Watch Review

I originally wanted to wait a couple of weeks to really use and get to know my Apple Watch but ended up taking more time to do so. I’ve had my Apple Watch Series 1 since the beginning of November and love it so much. I didn’t really want to splurge big money on it and bought it spontaneously after seeing an add for it on Poshmark. I go super lucky with my seller and it came in perfect condition. I opted for the silver 38MM option since I thought it fit best with my day to day life.

So far, I am in LOVE with it! I have a couple of things that I wanted to share with what I specifically to love but overall it’s definitely worth it. If you asked me when it came out at the beginning, I thought you would have been crazy to buy this watch. But as I have gotten to really use it in my day to day life, it’s a lifesaver.

Strap replacement // This was one of the biggest selling points for me. I had a Fitbit back and for around a year and really did not like how I couldn't change the strap. I never find a color that I liked enough. Once I got the Apple watch, I bought 3 traps in total. All three I’m able to switch around from the occasion and fit perfectly with my outfits. My all time favorite is this one from Apple. It’s super comfortable is usually my go to.

Home screen // When setting up the home screen, you have the choice to set it up with different types of screens. I went for the customizable one where I have quick app links to Messages, Workout tracking, Activity tracker, and Shazam. This is so useful since these are the most I go to and easy to tap and use.

Workout Tracking //  By far my favorite feature. Lately, I have been trying to get into working out and the workout app is amazing. They have so many options with the workouts you can track and lets me set goals for them. It’s pretty simple to use and it automatically syncs with the activity app and then to my Apple health.

Comfortable and Functional // When reading reviews for the Apple Watch, I was a bit hesitant with this portion. I remember when I had my Fitbit, I for some reason never liked the weight and feel of it when working and doing simple things. But the boy did this watch change it! It's pretty lightweight and half of the time I can’t feel it on my wrist. Many people said that it gets pretty annoying when you type, but for me, I haven’t had that much wit

App Compatibility // Many of my most used apps either have an apple watch version and are compatible with it or give notifications. One of my favorite apps is Outlook for email, and I love that my Apple Watch only gives me notifications if it’s a major email from someone and not junk. Another favorite is the Shazam app. Most of the time I have my data turned off for some of my apps and sometimes I really want to Shazam a song that I hear. It’s so quick and easy with the watch to do so and still is able to find it without the data on my phone on.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding the Apple Watch.
